It's been a long time but here I am. I've started getting the itch, again, to post. Probably, because I'm thinking about starting a blog for my Kindermusik biz. Also, because we've decided to adopt!!! We are so excited. We can hardly stand it. Already, we have been praying for our little baby that is still growing inside his/her mommy or maybe hasn't even been conceived, yet.
Some of Olivia's comments have just been priceless. She is so ready to have a baby or two or three...etc. At least she thinks she is. I know there will be an adjustment period for her even though she has been begging every day since she turned 3 yrs old to have a brother or sister.
We sat down at the OG (a.k.a Olivia Garden), her fav restaurant, and she said " So, have ya'll been working on those baby papers?" Straight to the point. Gotta love her. Yes, we've been working on those "baby papers" for the Home Study and meet with the Social Worker for the first time, next week.
In the meantime, we are trying to buy a new house, Stephen is applying for a new job, and I start my summer Kindermusik camps in a week. We like to make all big life decisions at one time in this family. :-) That way we know we aren't weak.

Julie I can;t even tell you how excited I was to see you back to blogging!!!! I have missed your updates. I am no longer on FB so this is even more special!!!! I am so happy for your upcoming adoption... what a blessed child to become a part of your family. LOVE you all!
